What is Nano Banana Pro
Before producing an image, Nano Banana Pro reasons about the request. Google says the model is built for studio-quality results: complex graphic design, product mockups and infographics with accurate text. In Google's docs it is called Gemini 3 Pro Image (ID gemini-3-pro-image); on RuAPI its ID is gemini-3-pro-image-preview.
It takes text and images as input and returns images and text. It doesn't support function calling or JSON-schema output: it's a model for graphics, not for agents. On RuAPI you call it through /v1/chat/completions — the same endpoint as text models, so the regular OpenAI SDK works.
